Hi. I've noticed in the past week and a half or two that some of our eggs look different inside. They look almost half boiled. I do rotate my eggs in the container so older ones up front and newer ones in the back. Some look normal but several have a super white eggs white and very yellow yolk almost as if they have started being boiled. I used to get the eggs every single day. My husband has been getting them the last week for me but not every single day. I feel like that doesn't have anything to do with it. They have been getting the same feed as normal. Thanks for any help.

Yes, pics would help for sure!

Thank you so much for the replies. I never thought of the weather! Since I've never had this problem even the last time we had chickens. We have had several 100+ days. We live in the central valley. I've shared a photo. They have been looking like this with a lil more or less white on them.

Yes it is solidish yet not completely firm. At times the yellow is a bit darker also. I'm not sure what chickens they are from. We have 8 altogether 4 are long island reds and 4 I'm not sure as to what they are. I've had them all for several months. This did just start in the last couple of weeks. The days have been hotter for almost a month so that could be it.

It sounds crazy but I suppose if it gets hot enough the egg could almost start cooking, no? Especially if left out for a few days. It certainly does have that look to it, like the whites are starting to congeal.
