My broody hens have been sitting on piles of eggs. Today when I looked into the coop to see if there were any chicks hatched, (they should be this weekend) one of the hens moved of the eggs and i noticed there were a batch of eggs that seemed to be pushed to the side. I took that batch of approx 6 eggs into the house and candled them, one was obviously developed, but not sure how far along, It was cool, I put it in th bator, does anyone think it may have a chance?? I read here about grocery store organic eggs hatching, so i figured i would give it a try!

Not sure, but think less than 24 hours old. They were all under the hens yesterday. it is so funny, when one hen comes out, another goes in and broods the eggs! i figured i would give it a shot as i saw here several folks that got refrigerated organic eggs tried hatching them and it worked on a few! I will let you all know what happens! better yet, i will candle it in a day or 2 and see if I see any movement!
