Egg Salad Recipe?

Will someone please post thier favorite egg salad recipe? I could look online but I would prefer to ask people who probably make it all the time.

Me too. I tried making some and it was just OK. I would love to have a good recipe from someone who makes it a lot.

I'm lazy, just eggs, mayo, salt and pepper. I'd love some recipes too.

Eggs,

, mayo, salad dressing, mustard, salt, pepper all to taste. Sprinkle with paprika.

I can't give exact quantities, because I look at the texture.

boiled, chopped eggs
cooked, chopped bacon (the big "secret")
a dab of the bacon grease (gives a smooth texture)
chopped dill pickle
chopped onion
salt and pepper
fresh or dried dill, a generous amount


You can add a bit of mustard, various seasonings, etc., but those are the basics. Use less mayo, and you have killer deviled eggs.


eta, I used to cook in a couple of restaurants- the basic recipe was always well received!

The salad dressing that's like mayo but isn't. You know what I mean? The tangy mayo?

Darnit now I'm hungry for some egg salad.

i use mayo, mustard, sweet and dill pickles chopped finely. just use enough mayo to "lube" the eggs and pickles up and add a squirt of mustard for the thngy taste... just play around with all these recipes and add what you like best.
