Egg Selling?

So...if I just wanted to sell my eggs to my neighbors or at a local farmers market, do I need a permit or something like that?

Just wondering. Thanks!!!

You can sell to friends, neighbors, and relatives without a permit. Not sure if it's legal in Ohio but I do it anyways. To sell to like a business or something you have to have a permit. Now this is for Ohio so Texas may be different.
