Egg size is getting smaller

I know that this time of year chickens are moulting. But my hens are still producing the same amount of eggs as they have since we got them. The only thing I have noticed is their eggs are getting smaller. Is this normal or do I just have wierdo chickens?

Some of mine seem to be doing that as well this year, so I'm a vote for it being pretty normal.

we usually get 5-6 eggs a day out of 6 hens. I went down this morning to get the eggs and I usually dont put them directly in the carton but I did this morning and noticed that these eggs were much smaller. Our Sex Links usually produce close to jumbo eggs. These are still good but much smaller. More Like a Large. I tell my flock every day that they are wierd, just wanted to see if they really were.. lol!!
