Hello. My name is Melanie. I am new to raising chickens. My girls have started laying eggs last week but the size is smaller than predicted for Plymouth Rock. It is hot here in Tennessee. Any advise?

Glad you joined the flock! Yes, pullets laying small eggs is normal. As time goes on they will increase in size. My pullets just started laying including a plymout rock and her eggs are small but I believe they will get bigger like the rest of my hens did.
