We have RSL's and the eggs are quite small period. will they get bigger? or am I destined to make 5 egg omlets? 1 has been laying for almost 2 weeks, the other just started about 2 days ago, and the last 2 have not started laying at all yet.
    Thanks

From what I heard/read, they should get a regular size after awhile. Chickens don't really get into their prime laying until their first birthday.

I have 11 hens who are 6 months old. I am still getting some small eggs, but I have a few of the hens who have been laying a while laying large to extra large eggs. I have even got one hen who has started laying double yolk eggs. They will get bigger. It just takes time. One day you will go to collet eggs and will have a nice big one. Good luck! [IMG]

I agree. Mine are slowly getting bigger too. However my EEs eggs have been big from the begining and there have been 2 double yokers!
