Egg Storage?

Is it better to store eggs in the carton upside down? (narrow part down) Someone once told me this. And if so, why? Thanks much

Pointy end down so the air cell will settle at the big end where the chicks pip.

So it's only important if your hatching the eggs?

Yes, sorry, only if they're for hatching. Doesn't make a bit of difference if you're eating them.
