Has anyone taken the temperature directly from the surface of their eggs during incubation (using a temp gun)? My incubator is set to 99.5-100.4 degrees in the air but I found that the temperature directly on the eggs' surface got up to 102-103 at the highest. Is this normal or should I lower the entire incubator temperature?
