egg turner not working! HELP please?

I have an old foam hova-bator model with the big yellow egg turner in it. it wasnt working when we first got it, so we bought a new motor. now, it still isnt working!

it hums and ticks all day long but doesnt turn the eggs! it will work occasionally, then stop. when it stops turning the noise keeps going meaning the motor is still working....

what can i do??

So, TAKAE YOUR EGGS OUT, put them on the wire, AND TURN THEM BY HAND......not so hard to figure out.

Turn them yourself, I've never had a turner.

Thank you for the suggestions, but somehow the turner magically started working again....but I won't complain!

The reason I had to have a turner is because there isn't always somebody home to turn the eggs and I just wanted them to have the best chance.
