Egg two different colors

Mine have done that occasionally. I think it just happens sometimes.

If your hen lays speckled eggs, as some of mine do, you can expect an occasional non-speckled egg, and very-speckled eggs, and everything in between. You are right, it's nothing serious, except seriously cute!

Think of it as an inkjet printer with a little glitch. Likely a one off, and harmless.

I’ve heard of something like that happening somewhere before, but for the life of me I can’t find it. It’s a beautiful egg though, must have been layed by a beautiful heen.
