Good luck on your hatch. i'm going into lockdown today

Well I just candled a few of mine with them still in the carton upright and a few of them are developing right up against the air cell. Funny thing is the ones I had labeled as broken are the ones that seem to be developing. The aircells look worse? though. They look more bubbly. Not sure if we will have a successful hatch, but its worth the try! They look like the pics at 72 hours in the candling thread, which is about where they should be, only you can only see half of the spidering because it bumps up against the aircell. Anyway, still hopeful!

I realize this is an old thread but I'm desperate. I just received 6 Ayam Cemani eggs all have detached air cells! I have a turner that keeps them upright but tilts constantly from side to side very slowly. Should I not even put them in the turner and just put them in an egg carton in the Bator so they don't move at all?

Talk to Sally Sunshine or Ozexpat. They have the most experience with shipped eggs. Good luck. My best guess would be to start them upright without turning. But talk to either of these folks.

I know this is a really old thread, but what was your outcome? I've got veins against the air cell in my shipped eggs, too, and was wondering what to expect.
