So true! I'm only up to about my 100th chick, so I still get excited, but not so bad anymore. When I'm not incubating I do miss the hum of the incubator in the dinning room.

The flashing orange light means there are chicks on the way

I woke up to some pips this morning so I'll have some egg-toothed clumsies bombing around the incubator soon. Rattling the wire mesh like convicts.

After the hatches are over, the house just sounds.... quiet.

Guess I get to experience a mild form of "empty nest syndrome" every 21 days!

i don't have internet at home so i could not get on this week end hear is Freddy K




he/she would not quite moving and chirping so i put my hand over her/him and he/she stopped.

on 14th at 1 something in the morning. was piped when i came home from school on Friday. The other one did not make it

every once in a wile i can get on but not all the time(Eldon has the hot spot for internet).

I keep him in the incubator. mom wont let me make a brooder. I would make one out of one of my wire cages a socket adapter and an exstention cord. Don't have anything else to put him in that is worm.
