i have a question when should chicks start chirping in the egg?

They don't always chirp, but if the do, it's usually within a day of hatching!

If you have a little stuffed animal that you don't mind getting really dirty, he may like to cuddle with it until the new chicks hatch.

A mirror or back of CD also works.

that is a smart idea. I have an old bird mirror from my moms bird kettle that i can put in with him. she gave it to me when she got a new one.
