I have a question about the oyster shell....I was told by a friend that I should give the hens oyster shell twice a month couple 3 handfuls...I am reading here alot of posts are saying they should have access to the oyster shell at all times?? so I dunno what to do now?? any help with this question would be awesum.

When a pullet first tarts laying it takes a little time for her body to get into the rythm of the laying cycle.
Hormones can be slightly out of whack at this time.

Give her time to adjust, and she'll be back to laying every day.
