One of my GSL girls lays a very dark speckled egg, yesterday we got a very large double yolk egg from her. Today it was normal size, but no yolk. Does that happen very often? I sell the large/xlarge eggs to the people I work with and keep the smaller eggs for myself, but I would hate to sell eggs without yolks to anyone. Should I keep all of her eggs, or is this just a one time thing.

Its just a hiccup- no yolk eggs are called 'fart eggs' or 'wind eggs' or 'whoopsies'

It will happen in very old, very young and very stressed more often then a healthy layer that has been laying several months.

It is just a one time thing.

If it isn't sell her to me for cloning - I could make a mint selling those "no cholesterol eggs"!!
