Hey guys! Update on Sunny today: we let her outside with her sisters from 11:00-3:30 today. She was walking around in the bathroom and acting bored. Outside, she didn't scratch at the ground with her feet, but she pecked at the ground quite a bit. I just gave her some dried mealworms I bought, and she actually ate some of those and some blueberries too!

I also took a picture of her poo, which I thought looked a little better. And a picture of her as well. She such a pretty girl

She looks nice and alert. Good sign. She was picking up much needed grit when you let her out. Maybe now she'll feel more like eating.

Update: Sunny is outside again today. Pecking at the ground but not scratching at it. Not moving a whole lot and a little lethargic. Didn't eat yesterday or today yet. Her poop is a little green, which I saw a thread that says it's bile from not eating and that she may be starving. I have a few pictures to show.

I can't remember if you posted already or not, but I know my own hen with ascites stopped eating and had had watery green droppings due to the pressure on digestive system. After I would drain her she'd have one big massive brown poo. Not sure if it's what your girl has, wish I could be of more help! She doesn't seem swollen does she?

I just went out to check on her and she was the first one who walked up to the fence. She appears to still be very alert and as you can see from her beak, she's been pecking in the dirt. I'm hoping she's getting something to eat in there.

Tonight when I bring her back inside, I'm going to compare her to the others to see if she feels swollen. It's the area below her vent and kind of between her legs right past her rib cage, correct?
