One of the pullets layed the first egg this morning for this bunch. It wasn't a big one but it was brown. Not sure which one layed it but I think it would be one of two. The black sexlink or one of the RIR's. I caught the RIR in my shed this morning, well my dog did. I think she was looking for a spot. She sang the egg when she had to leave and think she must have gone on into the coop and did her thing. So one thing I do know. At least one of these chickens can lay.[IMG]

Finding that first egg is sooo great! It seems like you wait forever to get it. I had finally given up that my girls were e er going to lay and when I forgot about it and stopped checking.....! Bam...there it was. I almost fell over! Congrats?[IMG]
