i need some tips because my kid is trying to hatch chicken eggs in our home made incubater. right now the tepmp. is 101.3 and 46% for humidity. i have four eggs but one of them are cracked but has not hit the eggs sack. they are in a wooden box plexi glass window ,jar of water , they are in a foam divider, with a wet towel

hi , make sure the temp is steady at 99.5 degrees. I use a thermometer and a hygrometer . You want 50% humidity for day 1-18, then 70-80% for the last few days. as for the crack i would cover the crack with some candle wax (warm) and hope for the best

for you , i have had 2 hatch from a homemade bator so dont feel it wont work , kay

what day should i put the candle wax because the egg was layed yesterday. and i don;t know how it got cracked and it is not cut throuth the eggs sack?

that looks like a whole not a crack , pic not good so cant see it properly ,
 
advice i got was if membraine ok then repair with candle wax ( birthday ones ) and carry on as normal thn candle at day 7 like normal to see if you see the spider like chick in side , good luck
