I noticed one of my liveliest girls was falling asleep standing up one day. she was not herself. She had yet to lay an egg that day so i took a look around back and she had pushed out part of a soft white egg ... real stringy... i pulled it the rest of the way out and she felt better. another bird had a shell inside that she simply could not pass. she did not lay for 2 days so i had to use my finger to explore for the issue. my problem was this bird was lethargic for 2 days and she was always in the box trying to lay .... that told me she was feeling the need but needed a little help.

a warm bath sometimes help. i found that out using this BYC search engine.

that said. your bird may be just a little off her game. keep an eye on her. i keep a close eye on all my girls and i know, like you, when they're not feeling right. it's also odd when it's just one bird and not the rest. my girls never get sick.... just bound up and that happens only to one chicken...

i am not an avian vet. i am only telling you to keep you eyes peeled.
