EGGBOUND OR BROODY GOOSE?

Pics
Avian vet said I could put iodine and triple antibac AROUND the yolk but no on it and it needs to be confined in as sterile a place as possible. I cleaned a plastic bowl with alcohol and lined it with paper towels, put the baby in (who is VERY active by the way) and put plenty more paper towels around and a few over, then duck taped (haha duck tape) a spaghetti strainer on top so it can't jump out. She said if it does NOT absorb by tomorrow, then there is a simple procedure to tie it off, which I am willing to pay to have done if need be. Here is my poor ducky prisoner...

I moved the hatched egg out of the brooder and did a quick candleing of the other two eggs so I could make sure the part of the egg with the most air is pointing up since the duckling moved them around after he hatched. Their lockdown started yesterday. I noticed there was a shadow in both of the air sacs. I assume this must the be internal pip? I didn't look long. I just wanted to make sure they were pointed with the most air up. I will later remove the paper towels that got skunked up by the other one hatching and replace with clean but I want to make sure the humidity is back up and I want to wait a bit. Then a fast house cleaning/paper replacement.

Puddles, my goose still does not want to walk. She started her oral calcium today. She was not keen on it but I did it easy enough. Just odd how injections were easier. I have a bowl of water in front of her and behind her and a bowl of food with sand, oyster shell, and chick starter in it. I still have not gone to the feed store to get anything else. My paycheck STILL HAS NOT COME... omg. Also, the feed stores said they don't have waterfowl ANYTHING at all but are ordering the waterfowl starter food. I NEED to find Waterfowl Layer feed. I may end up having to drop ship some to me. Maybe I can get my job to go halfies on it since they have ducks there also...

OMG.... I had two eggs left. One who was doing so good and could put his full bill out to breathe was dead. His egg filled up with liquid. I should of helped him out but I was trying to let things happen naturally. Well it did for that one. It died. The other one I took matter into my own hands and unzipped it and it pushed its way out in my hands. No issues look to be with that one. OMG I feel bad for the other one. It was needed help and I didn't help it.

I just did an "egg autopsy". Looks like he ruptured the yolk sack inside the confines of the shell. Drowned in yolk and its belly still very open. I guess anything short of a duck surgeon during the hatch would not of helped...
