"Eggless" chickens! - 2 are now laying!!! (update in post 1)

For the past two mornings now, they've woken me up with the "egg call" (their coop isn't far from my bedroom window), and there's another nest dug out in the nest box as of this morning. I know it's getting closer, but I swear this is worse than watching paint dry!

Hey I'm with ya. My husband has started to call them grain burners instead of chickens. I come to BYC to make myself feel better that I'm not the only one with defective chickens that won't start laying.
