Eggplant

Do ducks eat eggplant. My neighbor brought me an eggplant from their garden for Thanksgiving dinner. I don't just don't like, I can't swallow eggplant. I hate to throw it out but I can't eat it. Has anybody tried feeding eggplants to ducks? I gave them some pumpkins last week and they loved them.

In moderation it is fine.... just remove any green leaves. As a member of the nightshade family, eggplant leaves contain the same compound that tomato leaves have that are toxic (name is escaping me right now). So yes, but I would cook it and mix it with other vegetables.
