Can anyone tell me if they keep their eggs and eat them while dusting the coop and chickens with Permethrin?
If you don't eat them can they be incubated or is this something that would cause birth defects or infertility in the chicks?
If I need to throw out the eggs, and I need to use the Permethrin again in a week, how long after the 2nd dusting until eggs can be eaten again?

I can't find definitive answers on this so would appreciate knowing what everyone on this forum does to treat mites and lice?

thanks!

Eating the eggs is fine. Rinsing before using is all you need to do. Don't know if it affects hatchability but I'm gonna say no, shouldn't be enough on the eggs to worry about.

Permethrin works well for lice and mites. Dust away!
