EGGS ARE HATCHING--3 fuzzybutts-Hatch Ended

I can't really tell. THey are on camera TV in the house, but the 3 little ones came as a surprise to me. THey must have hatched them early cause I'v had this on since 6:30AM and didn't know they had hatched until I checked that egg shell again this afternoon and decided to count.

I was so surprised to see fluffy butts, I got the Mom's upset. The hatches are Mommies eggs that she sat. Aunties won't hatch for another week to 1 1/2 weeks. I don't think I marked the date of the troff of eggs. Can't figure what I did with last years calendar. Aunty steals Mommies eggs and chicks so, I don't know, they don't know, who has whose eggs.

If they ruff the chicks up, I'll have to bring them in and use the tub brooder. I don't want to. I'm afraid they won't accept them back in a few weeks??

Congrats!!!!!

I'd let the girls figure it out. Once one leaves the nest with the ducklings you can always round up the rest of the eggs fm that hatch and put them in the nest of the other. Hopefully, one will stay with the unhatched eggs for a week until they hatch. If you do take them to brood I doubt they will take them back. Instead they would probably start new clutch in a week or so.
You will have to watch Auntie, sounds like. My Charlotte had a big'ol clutch. Beth & Arwen shared a nest and hatched out theirs a week to week 1/2 later than Charlotte. Once I put all the girls together in the brooder house, Charlotte snatched ALL the ducklings for herself, even though hers were a week old already.

She made Beth and Arwen help her out watching them but SHE was in control and let them know it. Beth started laying again two weeks later and started her own clutch. Boy, I had a lot of ducklings last summer.
