My eggs arrived from JamesA today! I can't wait, I got a dozen + split bw welsummers and BLRW.
Packing was awesome, didn't loose a single egg!

In the carton every egg was wraped with napkin for extra cushion. Thanks James and can't wait to see how these turn out!

I have them setting on the counter now, incubator running at 99 degrees, 40% humidity (just added water so it will go down a little in a few days).
Any other last minute advice? First timer! and I am already so excited for hatch day!!!!

I just set my shipped eggs pointy end down at room temp for 24hrs before I put them in the incubator.Sounds like you already have the incubator up and running, now for the hard part waiting 21 days. Those are some nice looking eggs,Good Luck with them.

Thanks! you too! and I have had it running for a few days now. Been reading on all the posts and was so afraid of one of those temp spikes in the middle of the night, so I let it run for a few days to make sure I didn't bake my eggs on the first night! 21 days never seemed so long!

They have been resting pointy side down since I got them, debating wether or not to set them tonight or first thing in the morning.

My first hatch seemed like the 21 days was 12 months long.
