Eggs are here :)Paganbirds and MagsC's hatching thread!!UpdateMarch16!

Late tonight... early tomorrow... either way, tomorrow is day #1.
I had originally wanted to mark your eggs so I could match them to the ones I was hatching. Oh well.
I'm going to take pics here in a little bit.
How many of Phoenix's eggs did I send you?
They're the big, round, pale, cream-colored, golf-ball-looking eggs. LOL!
I'm putting in 3 of hers.
My little mille fleur booted bantams still aren't laying. They went on strike right after I sent out their eggs for the Jan. swap.

You sent me four of Phoenix's eggs. They are HUGE!!!! Duh and they say EE on them. Told ya'all how my mind is working today.

I dont think I could be any more absent minded if I tried. Will check this thread again in the morning, my body is screaming at me to go to bed early, lol.

Here are the Left side of egg trios (A, C, E, G, & I):

I am technologically DEFUNCT in that area...
My eggs are set now and I also got my blue and olive eggs from sonew123, so will put those in late tonight or tomorrow.

I'm thinking about buying some top-quality silkie eggs. I would like to thin my silkies and get some good quality birds in with my "keepers."
I also have a decent blue silkie, but no hens for him.
I'm still thinking about it though. I have 70 eggs in the 'bator already. It will only hold about 130 more! LOL!
big_smile.png

I need help. Talk me into some silkies. Give me some good ammo to tell my husband why I need more silkies!

Yes, you DO need more silkies!!!! Its a fact!!! How can you have too many silkies??? Plus tell him there are so many people that want silkies there will most always be a market for them...(you can hope, right???

)
Sometime this spring we will probably do the purebred silkie egg thingie. If you are buying them anyway, why not get some top quality ones?????
70 eggs...sigh...not there but getting close. I have two incubators up and running right now,(one hovabator and one old 50 egg brower) one for chicken eggs and one for duck eggs.(I have the smaller incubators mostly) I will probably set up separately for turkeys, guineas and whatever else we plan to hatch.
As I told sonew123, I havent had the courage yet to start the big old 100 egg brower, but I WILL make a test run on it soon.
My fiance thinks I am doubting his "fixing incubator" skills.

I'm hoping to get at least a trio of SQ from your eggs. out of 15 i should get at least 3 decent birds. If you ever get some "top quality" silkies, i want eggs.

edited to fix spelling:)
