My eggs from Tattoo arrived this morning, so settling to go in late tonight or tomorrow morning.
She sent 5! (I originally thought I was going to get four and as my daughter is wanting ducks to hatch, this works.

)
Paganbird, we will have to compare notes on duck eggs as well since they are going in close to the same time.

It'll be neat to see what your ducklings look like compared to my ducklings. They're the same group of birds... I wonder what mixes they'll be!
I'm excited about the ducklings. They are too cute when they hatch!

Guess what I found today...
My mille fleur booted bantam has started laying again!!!

Handsome: (yes, he has ONE tail feather that is "regular" and stands straight up, but he is not our only white silkie rooster.)

I know its only been a couple days...but so far so good.

Here are a couple more pics.
First, there's Spot. He's the newest addition to the coop. He was being kept in a separate pen, but he was getting a little too big for the pen. The eggs I sent out (to MagsC & OhioEggs) shouldn't have Spot in the mix. I had a pure BR rooster in before Spot. Next, are some of my hens. I was in the far end of the coop and most of the hens were crowding around my feet, but a few stayed out to get their pic taken.

Then there's a pic of a few more of the ladies running around. Looks like most of my dark hens... BR, BA, & a sexlink.

I'm going to candle my eggs tomorrow night.
