Thanks! He is cute, but not exactly what I was hoping for...
Update: Talked to the breeder, and she has no clue where the heck it came from! She just got a new roo, but he came from a very reputable breeder as well...the mystery continues...
WhooHoo!!!!!! Sonew123, I was right, there IS an olive egger pipping!!!!!!!!! It looked like it might be but now she just kicked a whole chunk of shell out. So, if all goes well, at least four babies.(Hopefully more but I know hatching eggs is a gamble, even when they look good during candling.)
I cant tell yet because she is just still sticking her little beak out. (I have to say she because I am hoping by positive thinking it will be so,lol
)
The one that is out is really being a spur for the others to try.
I had to add some more water though one of the air holes, its amazing how the humidity will go down. I have never had that once they started hatching.
Just looked with the flashlight all around the incubator again and there is yet another pip from a tannish egg (barred rock maybe? The yellow chick surprised me,lol). So, last count before I go to bed, two out, four pipped.
