The eggs my chickens are laying are mostly yolk...is this due to a protein deficiency? or is this normal. They are young and new to laying (first few months). Egg size seems normal.

i have 5 hens and 3 roosters (I know, not balanced but that's what happened). 3 hens are Ameraucana, 1 white crested blue polish and 1 golden polish. They are all under a year old - this is their first few months of laying..ALL your hens are doing this? How many hens do you have? What are you feeding them, including treats and supplements? Is feed available all day? Oyster shell, grit? Have any of them been sick lately, or have you examined them for lice or mites? Any other possible stressors? How old are they, how long have they been laying, and have their eggs always been this way or is this a change? Thanks.
Edited typos, twice, sorry. Sigh, 3x
little albumin, large nice orange yolks; shells intact and fineCould you elaborate? Do you mean the contents of the shell is all yellow or that there is little albumen and a huge yolk?
lol . right! I was just curious as I've never raised chickens before. Thanks! Why would any one consider this a problem? The yolk is what I eat an egg for.
My Easter Eggers have large yolked eggs, with little white. I love it.
