Eggs are not hatching - first timer

I know. This whole thing is breaking my heart a bit. Barely slept worrying about these baby chicks. Waiting for my daughter to wake up and we will candle them all and let you know what we see. The one I candled this morning looked good to me, but I don't know exactly what I am looking for either since this is our first time.
Im so sorry! Pleeez keep me posted.....?

This happened my first time incubating. The temp ended up being too cool because my thermometer was wrong. There was no way to calibrate the digital one I bought. Candle and look for movement and check the air cells. If they didn't dip its likely your chicks drowned. Also what size and color are your eggs? Some have a harder time losing weight than others.

We have used the thermometer on the incubator itself and it has been set at 100 degrees and will fluctuate when we open to adjust the humidity but only by a couple degrees for a few minutes here and there. We bought a few different kinds of eggs. Top hats, fancy feet and then a variety from McMurray Hatchery. The eggs are brown and white and I would say range from small to large, no jumbo. What do you mean when you say harder time losing weight? I have a thermometer that I could put in the incubator to see if it reads the same as the incubator thermometer. I am going to place it in now.
