I have 9 eggs I am home projecting with to hatch with a heating pad.

Eggs have been sitting at room temp for over 3 hours before putting in with the heating pad.

I just checked to make sure it wasn't too hot and it isnt nice and warm but it feels I dont see anything but they feel sweaty.

Will they be ok and why would they be sweating?

Inside of the egg is cooler than outside temp. They have not reached ambient temperature yet. . . I left mine out for 12 hours before incubating, but I'm not sure if shorter time would hurt. A more experienced hatcher would have to comment further.
