When I boil eggs, the yolk turns green around the outside. Is there a way to avoid this?

Reduce the cooking time. I put eggs in cold water, bring to boil, boil about 3 minutes, let sit for 15, then cool in cold water. [IMG]

Promptly chill eggs in ICE WATER until chilled so yolks stay bright yellow...keep adding ice as necessary....rapid chilling helps prevent the "greenish" ring to appear around the yolk.
