Eggs Cracking in Incubator

Im using the incubator warehouse turner for the genesis. I set 70 quail eggs 7 days ago and have had to pull 3 out so far due to an end of the egg being caved in. I know that the turner being universal does not have the optimum slot width for coturnix eggs but has anyone else experienced this with quail or other eggs in this turner?

Im thinking I should've gotten the OEM turner... Now it will be full price instead of $30 extra with the genesis bator.
