Eggs Develop Too Fast

Are you hatching parakeets? Those sound like some teeny eggs.

Just another thing I wanted to share, my eggs are extremely small for chicken eggs. They are a little smaller then quail eggs, with the exception of one or two larger ones. I think things will still work out though.

I will try to get some photos. I am trying not to move them right now and that hen in particular has been hiding her eggs somewhere and they are so small I can hardly find them in all the hay. If I find one I will definitely do a comparison. And yes I do find it odd on how small these eggs are but I'm sure it's nothing I should be all too concerned about. I will look around for her eggs again tomorrow and we will see. Thanks again.

What breed of Chicken eggs are you hatching?

If your eggs are smaller than quail eggs, I'm not sure the chicks are going to be able to grow big enough inside them. What size chickens did they come from?

They came from my Dutch Bantam. I thought that breed was supposed to lay eggs of that size right?
