I have a nurture right incubator. I set the days to 21 and have been adding water. I have not heard it turn. I checked the count down days and it said 00!! It did not reset somehow. It has been 7 days 😢. I reset the days to -15 but what issues could happen with not turning for that long? Should I start over with new eggs or just hope for the best? These are chicken eggs. TIA

Since it's been 7 days, I would candle the eggs and see how many are developing. There's no point in continuing if they are all dead, but no point in throwing them out if they seem to be doing fine.

Turning makes a difference in what percent of the eggs develop properly and hatch. Some can still develop and hatch if they were not turned. Some can fail even if they were turned.

what issues could happen with not turning for that long?
Turning helps body parts form in the right location, helps keep the yolk and embryo from settling and touching the inside of the shell where they could get stuck, and has some benefits in movement of fluids in the egg whites as far as delivering nutrients to the embryo. Turning is beneficial, especially early in incubation. But the overall failure rate from any of these is fairly low even if you don't turn. You'll probably get several to hatch and be fine.

Should I start over with new eggs or just hope for the best? These are chicken eggs.
That's a tough call for me. If there were any personal scheduling issues with delay or if these were "valuable" eggs I'd go forward and expect a decent hatch rate. If it were my own eggs and schedule wasn't that important I'd probably start over If I were you.

But knowing me I'd probably go forward just to see the results.

I have the same incubator and it never turns on its own. I just click the + and - button at the same time to do the test run and I just do that 3x per day.

The NR360 incubator has to be reset by holding down the MENU and MINUS (-) buttons together for 5 seconds. It will beep loud, and a light will show in the upper right-hand corner that shows the turner is ON.
