Eggs enter the mail stream Tuesday expect receipt by Friday

Well of the three eggs that are remaining it looks like the circulatory system collapsed on 2. Maybe someone can explain to me how a chick that has developed that far into the egg can just suddenly die I've seen it before it's always baffled me egg one dies egg three dies egg 2 continues on. I always thought of once the process of incubation has started and his development has commenced it's pretty much on autopilot I have since figured out that that's not right LOL this makes no sense to me

Lots of things can cause late deaths. Genetics, improper temps/spikes, handling, etc, parent nutrition has been shown to be a factor. In your case with the rough handling through the mail, I would suspect the CAM (the network of blood vessels, etc) just didn’t develop fully or properly. Just my guess.

You say the rough handling could be a cause but that's kind of confusing because the only thing that's there is the yolk and the blastoderm there's no circulatory system to be rough handled and damaged that's why it baffles me. Anyway the egg turner has been removed the eggs are not moving at all waiting for the first internal pip I expect external pip late Monday or early Tuesday

Well I do believe all the eggs are dead I have ordered new egg's French Marans to be exact sometime next week I expect them to arrive they're going to come with specific directions on how to make sure whatever can develop will

Number to the background information about me I've been hatching eggs now for a while I've had some fresh from the nest I've had him one day come in the mail you have dead eggs either way but I have never had one hundred percent morbidity

So sorry, I'm guessing it is all to do with the rough shipment these little guys had to go through. Is there anyway to complain to someone? Either the people who wrapped them or the shipping company?
