So far I haven't had problems. I just ordered 18 chuker eggs. Then I felt I needed more eggs and spent 40.00 on 6 serama eggs.... eggs are my addiction lol.

I have both sold and bought eggs from eBay and Eggbid.
As an eBay seller, I am here to tell you that if your eggs come all smashed as the ones in the other thread showed, you should open a claim with PayPal and you will get your money back as long as you return the eggs. I know, gross, but the way PayPal works is, in order to get a full refund (minus the return shipping) you have to return the item(s) but be sure you do it with Delivery Confirmation.
And oh my yes, that guy deserved a neg and ones across the board on his stars.
Here's one of my hatching eggs listings, just to give you an idea of what I think you should look for from an eBay seller (I actually wish the template weren't so very cutesie, but need to have a custom one made and haven't gotten around to it yet.):

Ok, now Im reallying thinking this Ebay stuff.. ...now my buffs that hatched...I noticed 3 dont look quite like buffs...so I posted a picture in another thread in here, and someone said looks mixed contract the seller and ask.
I did, I asked if they were PURE BRED BUFF EGGS that I bought this is the ad and what it said:

Up for bid are 10+ (extras if the ladies are willing) buff orpington hatching eggs. These birds are a beautiful gold color and they are big babies. We hatched the parents out last year and there has hardly been a day go by that they have not been petted. The hens will actually wait in line to be held and loved. If you would like gentle calm natured birds these are the ones for you.
While fertility is running very high this year, there is no way to guarantee that the eggs will hatch. Eggs will be shipped while very fresh and each egg will be carefully bubble wrapped individually.
So I contacted the seller and this is what I got when I questioned that 3 of my 12 hatched are starting to look different, I asked if they were PURE BRED BUFFS AND GOT THIS:

Well, that is a bit of a problem. If the "extras" they sent were from their mixed pens, you could have mutts. I would email the seller back with pictures of what you have.
Did you leave feedback yet? Has it been more than 60 days since the end of the auction? If so, then you can't leave it. And if it's more than 45 days since the end of the auction, then you can't file a claim with PayPal.

I have had mostly good hatches from e-bay sellers.
yes contacted the seller, said he did infact take the extras from another pen that has "purebred" that are mixed together. I told him I wasnt happy as his ad didnt state that he was taking from a mixed batch only that he was selling pure bred. so far nothing back.

If it was July 10th, then I would file a dispute with PayPal right now. You want it to read Significantly Not As Described (crossbred versus purebred would definitely be SNAD in my book.)
Once you do so, upgrade it to a claim right away, bearing in mind that in order to get a refund you must return the eggs to the seller. Can you do that?
