Hi. We found a nest with 27 eggs. I’m wondering if they are safe to eat if they were frozen, thawed and then frozen again? We had very cold weather, then mild, then very cold again. None of the eggs are cracked.

Thank you in advance for your insight. :)

They may be safe to eat...When I find a hidden nest and I'm not sure... I boil and feed back to the animals. :)

Are you sure? Candle them to look for cracks. Frozen eggs can crack slightly then that crack can close up again when egg warms. Up to you if you want to take the risk...I'd just boil them up and feed back to the birds, a treat for them while they are confined to retrain them to lay in the coop nests. ;)
