Just don't over heat the sock, heats up fast & hot.

Well I helped them both out the eggs. Not sure if it is the right thing to do or not, but one is super fit and eating and drinking and the other is a bit smaller and a bit more wonky on its legs but it may strengthen up.

Situation here isn't a lot different. Hen had 8 eggs to start. Two have hatched, but none have hatched for 3 days now. I won't assist, though; they're either strong enough to get here or they aren't.

I had one lot last year when only 1 out of 12 eggs hatched alive! Then a fox got that 1. Nightmare.
One of these I helped is great now but the other is not good and it seems to have a weak leg, so I guess you’re right, maybe it should have been left be.
