I got this information email from the seller ....

That is a white rock. They are sports off Barred rocks and that is how that breed was begun. Less than 3% of Barred Rocks hatch out white. You can use them in your breeding program since they still carry the the barred gene, but I would only use it if it had excellent type. Did I have any markings on that egg? It can only be a barred rock, because I have no other breed on the farm.

Teale ....
Great pictures! It looks like you are having a great hatch! Yiiipppeeee!!!!

What breed is it?

An Indian Runner..I spent the spring hatching posted eggs and now some of my young girls are laying..I had to at least try some eggs before winter sets in here... So its the first of "my own" Runner ducklings.. Now I have 5 of my girls all laying. I have some other eggs due over the next few weeks- orders for eggs and babies too... 2 shows coming up over the next few weeks... Things havent slowed down at my place yet........

All the chicks are doing really well and are soo cute

they are already growing their feathers.
here's the bad thing. we are going away for a few days for work and we are taking the chicks with us. so that will be a THREE HOUR drive to get to our destination

they will be warm the whole time and will have food and water, I just hope they don't get too stressed out
