I am so sorry for the eggs that didn't make it....it' always hard for me to toss them out of the bator too!


On the other hand.........I must say.........FABULOUS PHOTOS!!!!!!!!! Try as I may, I can never get a candling photo to turn out. NICE JOB!

Kathy not hatching for 5 months. Not buying it.

Guinea fowl......Sounds like your hatch is going well! Congrats on the light sussex! Do you guys have the blue columbian brahma's there? I've seen some pictures from people in England, and they are so gorgeous!

My DH still doesn't know how I made it through last August to December without hatching. Everytime he walked into my office/chick room he walked straight to the bators to see that they were actually empty.

I remember the withdrawl symptoms they were horrible........I don't think I can go through that again so I'm just going to keep giving in to the beckoning call of the bator!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to start a support thread to so we can all support Kathy through the trying times ahead.

New2Chooks- I take the bet, only I think it won't be a time line, it will be until someone comes up with some cool eggs- like chocolate Orps or Blue Delawares or rare Antartic Icepick chickens or something else totally unique.
