This is the egg that started either Sunday or Monday. The whole is bigger and there is the crack across.

This is the end egg. You can barely see the spots with the naked eye but when I took the picture with Macro you can see them. Is this piping?

There are only three eggs and the countdown is still 2 days. They are due Wed. The right end one started yesterday and there is progress if you look at the earlier picture. I just don't know how far alone he/she should be. The other egg has those spots but nothing else so far. The middle one looks like it has a small spot on the side I couldn't get a good picture.

They are in the classroom and on Monday morning they notice the beak breaking through. Yesterday there was not a smell but if you lean down and smell near the incubator there is an strong odor. Does hatching cause a smell? The middle egg was the one that was moving last Thursday when I candled it.

I forgot to mention. I don't know because I have never hatched before but the duckling doesn't seem very wet from what I can see.

It can cause a slight smell in my experience- but I've only ever hatched chickens and quail. So I'm not sure about ducks. So, have they all pipped. I can see there are no hatchlings, how long have they been trying to hatch. How long from the pip, to when they started to zip?
