eggs hatching early or late

we got the eggs in the incubator on the 2nd of this month it is 22 days today 1 egg hatched others have been maturing correctly and have not. the one that hatched had failed to absorb the yolk sack.

should i wait another day and then remove a bit of the shell if i do not see them trying to break out?

first chick has died simply stopped breathing a few minutes after hatching. temp and humidity are in check.

ideas? starting to panic..

I set mine on 2nd also and my count is day 21, which one of us is counting wrong?
oh I have 2 pipping

i used a time and date durration calculator counting the end date from the 2nd to the 23rd =22 days

I also set on the second and my count is 21 days on the 23. 2 out of 3 have hatched. Goodluck

Today is your 21st day. Don't panic if you temp was even a half a degree low it can lengthen the hatch time. Did you set in the morning or evening?

If you don't hear peeping and you don't see any urgent needs you don't help hatch. Most don't help at all. I have helped when I thought needed.

HOWEVER< The hardest part of incubation especially the first time is staying out of the bator. If you go in and drop you humidity after they have externally pipped then you can shrink wrap them then you will end up having to help and you aren't as good as mother nature. Stay out of the bator and wait at least until tomorrow at lunch before any panic attacks.
