Eggs in Incubator..count down to May 21!!

7 hatched so far with 4 pips and 1 of those is zipping away slowly but surely!!!

I'll post some pics in the morning been foolin with my new calves all afternoon and am exhausted. Congrats to all ya'll!!!!!

One more hatched while I was at work! Here's my 2 new Light Brahma fuzzy butts

One was almost completely zipped and stuck in the egg! I waited all night, then decided to help her out. I got a warm wet paper towel and gently peeled back some of the shell. Slowly, because I was worried that I would kill her. She's ok! yay! She's stumbling around the bator and chirping like crazy! whew!

Last night, I took the first 2 out of the bator and into the brooder as they were creating havoc in the bator! They were jumping around so much I was worried they were going to hit their little heads on the fan!
Mr. Peepers is thoroughly ticked off at his new found buddies! He's never seen another chicken before! So I put in a screen to separate them at least til the new babies can defend themselves!

Nothing yet from the remaining 4...

I only have 1 set of chick feeder & waterer, so they went to the new babies..Mr. Peepers is about 10 days old, so I thought I would try it, the glass is heavy, so he can't knock it over!
