RIP my special one off little frizzle cockerel. Still not sure how but somehow a fox got into our chick house this morning, 4.30am. Killed 5. Pretty gutted to have lost frizz. He'd had a few days of crowing too. Found his head on our garden compost heap this afternoon. No sign of 2 other chicks and 2 left dead in the run.

Oh my gosh I am so sorry!!! This is horrific!! You must be sick. They were only what? 7 weeks old. Same as mine. I am terribly sorry about this loss.

Yes pretty gutted tbh. 7 weeks. He had such a funky character and had lots of breeding plans for him. He was so funny! Have to never mind and move on. He was such a one off though! Glad we looked out when we did and could stop the fox. He would have killed them all otherwise I think. Gutting. Have to try move on
