My girls love to sun bath and take dirt baths until the evening sun is out . Then they go in the run lol. Egg productions down this week due to the heat. Can't wait to hatch my own chicks one day!Good morning, fairy eggs do not have yolks they are tiny.

I just lay a blanket over mine to make it stay 99.5yeah. I don't even hatch bantam, but Iv'e got a cheap incubator that doesn't hold heat well, so I usually set the temperature a degree or two higher, and then the first chick hatches a day early. it makes things a bit more complicated, but the eggs in the corner get enough heat that way.
Yay how nice... they just love exploring the grass! Mine have experienced a little bit of rain today... they're outside but they have their heat plate out there still and plenty of shelter in the little runFinally let mine on the grass for the first time. Not very long because it's too hot. Even at the end of the day it's too hot.
Oh my gosh they are so cute!! Mine are for sure at least 1 cockerel but 2 others I just can't tell.An update on my beautiful chicks. I'm pretty sure my polish chicks are 2 cockerels and 1 hen judging by behaviors. My beautiful frizzle crowed for the first time this morning. 6 weeks old yesterday. Such an adorable squeaky effortthe Mille fleurs, I believe big fluffy foot is a cockerel and the tufted one a hen. 4 fluffy silkies I suspect 2x cocks and 2x hens but these are heard to judge still. The bearded black and the tufted white I'm not at all sure yet. Think that's all 12
