Eggs lost in mail

Mine were shipped last Tuesday morning (packaged Monday night) and arrived last Saturday. I candled them today, which I'm totally new at, and I think I have maybe 6 of 24 showing develoment. 3 look very good. My box was also beat up, but the tracking wasn't updated between sending and receiving so I have no idea where it went all those days. I would guess you have a good chance at hatching some, but don't expect a large hatch rate. Good luck!

I always get mine 2 or 3 days. I just keep checking tracking number until they get close then call PO to tell them to hold them for pickup

Oh yeah, I did that too.. And my post office sent them out for delivery so when we went to pick them up, they weren't there! My husband tracked down the mailman so we didn't have to wait hours for him to get to our house!

That stinks I live in a small town my mail ladies are very nice. Just as long as I call them right when they open all is good.

The box arrived, it looks great and the eggs are all unbroken. I think it just got accidentally re-routed or put on the wrong truck. I guess I will put them in right away but not in the turner (for as many as I can) and then put the rest in the turner. The packing job on them was excellent so hopefully that increases their chances...

Well, I just couldn't decide so I put them all right in, 6 in the turner and 6 just in a tray. See which half does better.

Our local UPS is horrifyingly bad, they can't seem to figure out that even numbered houses are on the opposite side of the road from the odd numbered houses. I've even posted our house number on both sides of the driveway and our house. Doesn't help - they insist on going to the mailbox on the opposite side of the street, then honking. By the time I go running out, they've taken off and reported it online as if I wasn't home. And no one at UPS cares when I've repeatedly complained about this driver or drivers.

I would not trust them with eggs or chicks.

Are you talking about UPS or the USPS. In order to complain about your mail carrier you have to talk to the post master.
I have a great mail carrier she delivers to the door any packages I don't have a hold on.
