I just put my eggs on day 18 lockdown and I noticed that every once in awhile they will move. They have been at a pretty steady 99.5 - 100 degrees throughout the incubation. Humidity has been on the high side of 50 - 55% throughout. It is up to 63% now that they are on lockdown. When I do the next batch I will probably use bowls and sponges since I had difficulty keeping the humidity down in our Florida environment. Hopefully I can control the humidity better that way.
I started with six eggs (from my hens) and so far all six are fertile and candling shows they are all fully developed.
Is it normal for the eggs to start moving this early? It is not a steady rocking, more of a "twitch" every 5 minutes or so.
