Eggs not fertile

Okay, all eggs pulled, and because I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth I put some 'regular' duck eggs under the three broodies. And I know those are fertile, because I have some in my incubator!

Drakes are from last year. So I'd say probably between 7 months to 11 months?

Hens started laying a few weeks ago.

I like to wait at least 30 days after starting up again
That’s probably all it is
Check back in a few weeks
I had this with my first duck and her mate
I tried for about 2 months straight and nothing but I see them mate
He was to just to young at first and she was new to laying
Once I started to get fertile eggs it was non stop
After winter it’s the same thing as a young bird
They just need time to get kinks worked out

I bet that’s it that they just haven’t gotten ‘warmed up’ yet. I just had that batch of quail eggs that I’d gathered a few weeks after they started back laying and it was only 4 out of 13 fertile.
